Welcome to Bizuno! This guide covers every installation method available in 2026 so you can be up and running in under 10 minutes.
System Requirements (2026) #
- PHP 8.1 or 8.2 (8.3 not yet officially supported)
- MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.4+
- WordPress 6.4+ (if using the WP plugin method)
- mod_rewrite enabled (for pretty permalinks)
- Minimum 256 MB memory_limit (512 MB recommended)
Method 1 – WordPress Plugin (Recommended for 95% of users) #

This is by far the easiest and most popular way.
- Log into your WordPress admin
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Upload the latest
bizuno.zip(download from https://www.bizuno.com/download/) - Click Install Now → Activate Plugin
- You will be redirected automatically to the Bizuno Welcome screen
- Click “Install Bizuno Database Tables” – this takes 10-20 seconds
- Done! Proceed to First Login below

Method 2 – Standalone (non-WordPress) #
Perfect for dedicated accounting-only servers.
- Download the standalone package from bizuno.com/download/
- Extract all files to your web root (e.g.,
/var/www/html/bizuno) - Create a blank MySQL database and user
- Browse to your domain → you are taken straight to the installer
- Fill in:
- Database host (usually localhost)
- Database name, user, password
- Admin email & password
- Click Install → wait 30-60 seconds
- Success! Log in with the credentials you just created

Just go to https://my.phreesoft.com → Sign up → Your Bizuno instance is ready in seconds.
First Login & Security Best Practices #
After any installation method:
- You will land on
/bizuno/login.php(or via WP admin menu) - Default admin user: admin (change this immediately!)
- Immediately go to My Company → Users → admin → Edit and:
- Change username from “admin” to something unique
- Set a strong password (20+ characters)
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication (highly recommended)
