The Bizuno Home page and every module Dashboard (Customers → Dashboard, Banking → Dashboard, etc.) are built as portals — grids of panels called widgets. Each widget shows a focused chunk of information: a list of open quotes, aged receivables, a count of new customers this week, or a set of links. You can rearrange them to taste.

How widgets behave #
- Drag any widget’s title bar to move it to a different column or reorder it.
- The layout rearranges into more columns automatically as your window gets wider.
- Click the X on a widget to remove it from that dashboard (you can add it back from Manage Dashboards).
- Click the refresh icon (circular arrows) in a widget’s title bar to reload its data without reloading the whole page.
- Click the collapse arrow (▲) to fold a widget down to just its title, saving vertical space.
Your arrangement is saved per user and per dashboard, so the Home page can look one way for you and different for your colleague.
The Welcome widget #
On the Home dashboard you’ll see a Welcome to Bizuno! widget by default. It’s a short orientation with clickable shortcuts to the four setup paths — business info, customers/vendors, tax rates, and inventory. Once you’ve finished the first-run setup, click the X on this widget to free up space.
Company Links — shared with everyone #
The Company Links widget is a shared list of URLs that everyone in the company sees on their Home page. Good uses:
- The URL of your company’s internal wiki or intranet.
- A link to the shared Google Drive folder where you keep scanned receipts.
- Your Slack or Teams channel for Ridgeline Cycles.
- Your accountant’s portal.
Adding a link: Type a Title and URL in the fields at the top of the widget and click Save (or press Enter in the URL field). The link shows in the list immediately for every user on their next refresh.
Editing or removing a link: Click the link in the list, then edit in place or click the delete icon.
My Links — just for you #
The My Links widget behaves exactly like Company Links but the list is private to your account. Good uses:
- Your frequently used Bizuno screens that aren’t one click from the menu.
- The tracking URL for a package you’re waiting on.
- A draft document you’re working on.
The usage pattern is the same: type a Title and URL, click Save.
Module dashboards #
Every main module (Customers, Vendors, Inventory, Banking, General Ledger, Quality, Tools) has its own Dashboard as the first item under it in the left menu. These are separate portals with their own set of widgets relevant to that area. For example, the Customers Dashboard is a natural place for Aged Receivables, Open Quotes, New Customers, and Sales by Rep widgets.
You switch which widgets appear on which dashboard using Manage Dashboards — see the next article.
A recommended starter layout (for Ridgeline Cycles) #
A bike shop owner’s Home page might be:
- Column 1: Aged Receivables · Open Sales Orders · Sales Summary (by week)
- Column 2: Open Quotes · New Customers · Returns by Customer
- Column 3: Company Links · My Links
This gives you a cash-in view (receivables and summary), a pipeline view (quotes and orders), a customer-health view, and your quick-nav links — all without clicking into any module.
Troubleshooting #
My layout keeps resetting — Make sure you’re signed in as your own user and not a shared account. The layout is saved against the user record.
A widget shows “No Results Found” — Either there’s genuinely no data yet (new system), or the widget’s date range doesn’t overlap any transactions. Open the widget’s settings (the gear or filter icon inside the widget) and widen the range.
I can’t find a widget I used to have — Open Manage Dashboards and look in the category tabs (Customers, Banking, Inventory, etc.) — widgets live under their source module, and you can re-enable it from there.
Where to go next #
Now customize exactly which widgets appear where with Managing Dashboards.
