Vendor Reports is the PhreeForm group that produces every supply-side report you need — aged payables, purchase analysis, 1099s, and vendor-level spend. Every report exports to PDF, CSV, or Excel.

Running a report #
- Click the report name to open parameters.
- Enter filters (date range, specific vendor, status, etc.).
- Pick output format: PDF, HTML preview, CSV, or Excel.
- Click Generate. The report downloads or opens in a new tab.
Year-end 1099s #
In early January:
- Run Vendor List filtered to 1099=Yes. Double-check the Tax ID and address on every row.
- Run the 1099 Report for the prior calendar year.
- Any vendor who cleared the threshold (currently $600 for most categories) needs a 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC.
- If you use a payroll/tax service, export the 1099 Report to Excel and hand it off. If you file yourself, use the form template that ships with Bizuno under Admin → Settings → Phreeform Templates.
Important: The 1099 Report totals only post-and-paid amounts that landed in the calendar year. Bills posted in December but paid in January count for the following year. Plan accordingly.
Customizing a report #
Click the pencil on a row to open the report in PhreeForm’s designer. Copy the report first (row action → Copy) if you want to keep the shipped version intact. See the PhreeForm designer article (Category 10) for the full designer walkthrough.
Tips for Ridgeline Cycles #
- Run Aged Payables every Monday morning with Pay Bills open in another tab — you can knock out the week’s payments in 15 minutes.
- Review Purchases by Vendor quarterly. If one vendor is 60%+ of spend, it’s a concentration risk; lining up a secondary supplier is cheap insurance.
- At year-end, run Purchases by Item to find what you actually sold vs. what you bought — a useful input for next year’s buying plan.
Where to go next #
- Pay Bills (Banking) — clear the items on Aged Payables.
- Purchases Manager — drill into a specific bill.
- Admin → Settings — tweak 1099 thresholds and default forms.
