The Banking Dashboard is the landing page for everything money-movement: bank balances, deposits, pay-bills, refunds, reconciliation. It’s the first screen that loads when you click Banking in the left menu.

What you can do here #

  • See today’s bank balances at a glance.
  • Check which accounts haven’t been reconciled recently.
  • See deposits in transit and open customer credits.
  • Open any of the sub-screens from the left sub-menu.

The sub-menu under Banking #

  • Dashboard — this screen.
  • Bank Accounts — your checking, savings, credit card, and merchant accounts, with the register view.
  • Cash Receipts — record a customer payment.
  • Deposits — bundle receipts into a bank deposit slip.
  • Pay Bills — pay one or many vendor bills.
  • Customer Refund — money back to a customer (against a credit memo).
  • Vendor Refund — money received back from a vendor (against a vendor credit memo).
  • Reconciliation — match Bizuno to your bank statement.
  • Statement Import — pull OFX/QFX/CSV from your bank.
  • Reports — PhreeForm reports grouped by banking.

Useful widgets for this dashboard #

User avatar → Manage Dashboards → pick Banking, then add:

  • Bank Balances — current book balance per account.
  • Reconciliation Status — days since last reconciled, per account.
  • Deposits in Transit — receipts recorded but not yet bundled into a deposit.
  • Upcoming Payments — vendor bills due this week.
  • Open Customer Credits — credit memos not yet applied or refunded.

Important: The Bank Balances widget shows your book balance — what Bizuno thinks is in the account based on posted transactions. It’s not the same as your bank’s available balance, which reflects cleared transactions only. Reconcile monthly to keep both stories aligned.

Tips for Ridgeline Cycles #

  • Pin Bank Balances + Upcoming Payments together. Together they answer “can I pay this week’s bills?” in one glance.
  • Keep an eye on Reconciliation Status — if any account has gone more than 35 days, schedule it for this week.
  • Any persistent balance in Deposits in Transit longer than 2–3 business days means somebody is forgetting to run the deposit routine.

Where to go next #

  • Bank Accounts — set up a new account or review the register.
  • Cash Receipts — record a payment.
  • Pay Bills — clear this week’s payables.
