Bizuno exists because people wrote code, filed bugs, answered forum questions, translated strings, and tested pre-release builds. This page names everyone we can find. If we missed you, tell us on the forum or open a PR against this page.
The list is alphabetical within each group. Nothing about order implies contribution size.
Maintainers
The small group with commit access and release responsibility.
- Dave Premo — project lead, PhreeSoft. Most of the core code, the 71-article manual, and this site.
- (open slot — Dave is actively onboarding a second maintainer. See the note at the bottom of this page.)
Core contributors
People who have sent substantial patches, written whole modules, or carried a specific area of the codebase for more than one release.
- (placeholder — to be populated from git log before launch)
Community contributors
Everyone who has sent a pull request, filed a well-scoped bug, contributed a PhreeForm template, answered more than a handful of forum questions, or shipped a translation.
- (placeholder — to be populated from GitHub and forum history before launch)
Sponsors
Businesses and individuals who have paid PhreeSoft to build features that then landed in the open-source product. Naming is opt-in; some sponsors prefer to stay private.
- (placeholder — opt-in list, pending outreach)
Thanks
A short, non-exhaustive list of people and projects that made Bizuno possible:
- The PhreeBooks community, whose 2008–2015 work is Bizuno’s foundation.
- WordPress and BetterDocs, which host this site and the manual.
- bbPress, which runs the forum.
- MariaDB, PHP, Apache, nginx, Docker, and the hundreds of maintainers behind each of them.
- Every shop owner who emailed a bug report with a stack trace attached. You know who you are.
How you get on this page
You land on this page by doing one of the following and letting us know:
- Merging a pull request.
- Filing a bug that becomes a labeled GitHub issue.
- Writing or editing a documentation article.
- Answering questions on the forum consistently over a month or more.
- Translating a module or a doc category into another language.
- Sponsoring a feature through PhreeSoft.
Drop your name, a one-line bio, and an optional link (GitHub, website, or forum profile) in a forum post tagged contributors-page and a maintainer will add you at the next site update.
A note on the open maintainer slot
This project currently has one person with admin access to both the site and the code. That’s a risk. Before launch, one longtime community member will be onboarded as a second admin with full publish rights on the site, commit rights on the main repo, and a documented runbook covering backups, deploys, and DNS. If you’ve been around Bizuno for a while and want to help carry the load, say so in Announcements.
